Manh Nirogyam

Alpha Healing (Manah Dharna Kaushalam) Manah Nirogyam is a scientific mental and emotional healing technique developed at the Bhakti Vedanta Sukrit Wellness Centre. In the alpha healing, the subject is made to go through the Vihangam yoga experience during which a 192 channel EEG is used to study the brain wave changes. During and after the guided meditation experience, there is an increase in the alpha waves from the brain and a considerable decrease in Beta and delta waves. An increase in alpha power signifies increased relaxation of the mind and an increased ability to make decisions in a calm mental state. Dementia Healing (Manah Nirogyam Sthiram) Dementia is a disease of the brain in which there is gradual decrease in the ability of a person to think and remember that greatly affects his normal daily functioning. In the Dementia healing technique, the patient is taken through several sessions of Vihangam yoga meditation post which the brain waves are measured. The technique also uses music, sadafal songs, sounds of birds, vedic chants, fountain sounds etc. to facilitate the meditation process. It is seen that with these aids, there is an increase in the vibrations and aura of the mediator leading to a very calm and stable mind. This state of mind helps restore memory loss to a considerable extent.

Organic Cuisines

Sattvic food has always been one of the pre dominant considerations for yogis. There is a deep connection between yoga and a sattvic diet. The term “Sattvic” denotes pure and fresh and hence Sattvic foods are not just vegetarian but those foods that are abundant in prana or the universal life force that gives life to all sentient beings. Any stale food, processed and canned foods, spices and other roots like onions and garlic etc. have stale energy and hence are either “Rajasic” (energy of activity and passion) or “tamasic” (inertia or lethargy) in nature. Sattvic foods on the other hand are fresh organically grown fruits, vegetables etc. that are light and easy to digest. We provide complete Sattvic vegetarian meals at all our centres, where fruits, vegetables and food grains are grown naturally without the usage of chemicals and harmful pesticides and the meals are prepared with a lot of love and in a state of yoga. This yogic, sattvic cuisine influences the mind and the body in a positive manner and facilitates a deep connection and concentration during meditation. It also enhances physical and mental stamina and energy.
